(June 2, 2020) – Paving work began Monday, June 1 on SW Terwilliger Boulevard, between SW Capitol Highway and the stairs at SW Bancroft Street, as part of the Portland Bureau of Transportation’s (PBOT) ongoing street maintenance work. The street repairs will continue through June 24, each weekday from 6 a.m. through 3 p.m. and possibly weekends.

In total, PBOT crews will grind down and repave 3.48 lane miles of pavement.

Streets with ground down surfaces are open for travel. Street detours are only in effect during project hours. Access will be maintained for businesses and residents during the project.

The traveling public is advised to expect delays while repairs are being made. We ask the public to travel slowly and cautiously in our work zones, observe all detours and directions by reader boards and flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible.

This work is weather-dependent, and the schedule may change.
