Fusion at its Best
This class incorporates exercises from different workout styles—including barre, yoga, strength training, cardio, and dance. This style has a deep focus on the core and emphasizes moves that will tone, stretch, and elongate muscles. This can be an incredible workout that will engage, challenge, and change the way you exercise. Fusion Workouts combine four disciplines that will help you gain strength, muscle definition, flexibility, balance, and overall mind–body health.

Hatha Yoga
Focuses on linking gentle postures (asanas) while concentrating on stilling the mind. Bring strength and stamina to your entire body while relieving stress. Great for beginners and continuing students.

Yoga
Originating in India, this centuries old practice of exercise revitalizes both mind and body. Improve focus,
release stress and tension while increasing strength, flexibility, balance, energy and overall well-being. An
excellent way to meet the demands of daily life.

Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a gentle slow paced form of yoga that focuses on releasing deep tension passively with a use of props. This practice can help improve flexibility and calm the mind.

History

The center was completed in 1998. The Thompson Vaivoda Architects design included a future, two-pool natatorium. The 2002 Levy provided funding for its construction. The aquatic center was added in 2008 and received LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The center's tower, bike racks, fences, and benches were designed by Garth Edwards, and in 2009 a stainless steel sculpture by local artist Bruce West was installed near the front entrance. Entitled Sitting Stones, it is a dynamic composition that reflects the changing light of the day and the season.
