We are migrating our website to a new platform. New information is being added daily. We want the new Portland.gov to be a community-oriented website where services are easy to find, easy to access, and easy to understand.
If you bought and planted a yard tree between September 1 and April 30, you may be eligible for a Treebate. The Treebate is a one-time rebate on your City of Portland sewer/stormwater/water utility bill for planting a tree.
If you've received a decision from the Bureau of Environmental Services, such as an enforcement notice, penalty, or assessment, you may request a formal administrative review. In most cases, you have 20 business days after your notice was mailed to submit a request for administrative review.
With GreenBucks, Portland sewer customers can make a $1, $3, or $5 contribution to public schools. Public schools receive GreenBucks for onsite stormwater management. Whether you're a residential customer or a school district, register here.
Customers may qualify for bill adjustments when property-side leaks impact utility bills. Customers may request adjustments after leaks have been repaired. A City staff person will check the water meter to verify that the leak has been fixed.
Liability claims can be for personal injury, property damage or for damages or losses that involve a City vehicle. See the two options below and choose the correct form to file.
Claimant must submit a claim within 180 days of the incident.
If the rain that falls on your property soaks into the ground instead of running into the storm drain or streets, you may be eligible to receive a discount on your water/sewer/stormwater bill. Register for the Clean River Rewards program here.
