The offices of Mayor Ted Wheeler and Commissioner Chloe Eudaly, the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability and the Portland Bureau of Transportation held a Smart Growth webinar on April 29 to share information about land use and transportation projects now heading to City Council for consideration and adoption. 

With the COVID-induced shelter-in-place orders, City Council meetings were temporarily paused. Now that Council has developed an effective way to hold hearings online to maintain safe social distancing protocols, public hearings have been rescheduled.

Over the next couple of months, City Council will hear testimony on the following land use and transportation projects:

  • Expanding Opportunities for Affordable Housing
