We understand that this is a challenging time for everyone, and that the response to the COVID-19 outbreak has caused disruptions to work, school, and community meetings over the past week.
In light of these circumstances, we have decided to extend the public comment period for the draft Climate Emergency Resolution through the end of this week, to provide additional time for community members to prepare and submit feedback.
The public comment period will now be open until Sunday, March 22 at 11:59 pm.
Thank you for all of the work you do to support climate action in Portland and to care for our community and our planet. We look forward to reviewing all of the community feedback on the draft climate emergency declaration to finalize the resolution over the coming weeks.
