If you have a project that benefits your community and the environment, you can apply for a Community Watershed Stewardship Program (CWSP) grant of up to $12,000. The two-page pre-application for projects is due by 4 p.m. on the first Friday of February each year.
After submitting a pre-application, you'll receive notification in March as to whether your project is invited to submit a full application. Full applications are due the third Friday of April. Funding decisions are announced in May.
Learn about the grant application process
Applying for a CWSP grant is a two-stage process:
First, you submit a pre-application.
Second, a grant review committee reviews the pre-applications. CWSP will then invite selected applicants to submit a full application.
For comprehensive information about the application process including full instructions, selection criteria, and resources, see the Grant Guide.
CWSP is committed to supporting applicants throughout the process, so don’t let limited grant-writing or environmental experience stop you from applying. Call or email us for assistance with the application process.
