You are invited to share your views about updates to the City of Portland’s tree code through an online survey that is available through Friday, May 15, 2020.

The Bureau of Development Services, Bureau of Planning and Sustainability, and Portland Parks and Recreation are taking a look at Portland’s tree code to address concerns about the removal of trees in certain types of development situations. The Portland City Council directed these bureaus to reach out to the public and develop specific proposals for the City Council’s consideration later this year.

The online survey is one way you can share perspectives and ideas to help shape the proposal that will be released this summer for public review and comment.

The survey is brief and should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Your responses are confidential. For more information on efforts to update the city’s tree code, click here.
